We strongly recommend a visit to La Marina Campsite and Pool Park in Elche, Alicante, an easy 30 minute drive from the villa, especially if you have children. It is a wonderful safe complex, with all sorts of pools, spas, jacuzzis, gym, restaurants and a waterfall set in a lagoon style layout.

Especially for children
Marina Land is a childrens park full of tunnels, slides climbers, bouncy castles and much more, there are four different areas including the pirate ship and jungle. The whole area is layed out on rubber flooring for safety. Marina Park is an indoor play center for children of all ages and includes ball pools, cybercafe and table football to name just a few.

Eat and Drink
La Marina Restaurant is an indoor air-conditioned restaurant, there is a daily menu, home-made pizzas and the stars of the menu paellas and noodles. There is also a special children's menu.
The Palpapa Restaurant serves snacks and drinks all day, during high season in the evening it comes alive with shows for children and later in the evening adults.
The Tucan Cocktail Pool Bar serves cold refreshing drinks, including cocktails, iced and soft drinks, which you can enjoy either sitting at the bar, on a lounger or even in the water.

Directions
From the main roundabout in La Zenia turn left onto N332 heading towards Alicante.
Stay on this road for about 30 mins (depending on the traffic) and look out for the sign for La Marina when you near the town of Elche.
Take the next exit on the right after the sign and follow the road until you see the sign for La Marina Camping on your right.
There is also a lovely beach right next door.
